Yes! As a mobile acute care service, we offer several point-of-care (POC) or "rapid" tests. This includes swabs for influenza A/B, SARS-CoV-2 ("COVID-19"), strep, and urine testing (urinalysis). While we don't offer on-site imaging (i.e., X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound), for non-emergent conditions, we can write orders for those scans, as appropriate, which can be taken to an imaging center of your choosing.

Yes! When medically appropriate, we can prescribe and send medications to the pharmacy of your choice.*

At this time, we are considered out-of-network and do not accept insurance. However, prescription medications, ordered laboratory tests, imaging, and other services may be eligible for some or partial reimbursement after filing a claim with your insurance carrier. Additionally, some services may also be eligible with payment or reimbursement through FSA or HSA accounts.

Island Pediatrics is a fee-for-service practice providing transparent pricing. Our prices are available on our website, and we are happy to clarify any costs before services are rendered.  Several online/electronic payment options are available.

We currently offer sick visits and sports physicals, so our services supplement care you receive from your primary care provider for routine wellness and well-child visits. Routine vaccinations are still recommended for receipt through your primary care provider or local public health department.

Yes! We are happy to see newborns up through young adults aged 21.
